PJ's

PJ' s, PJ's, PJ's, PJ's, comfy, relaxing and... Nice to sleep in? Well what ever they are, they sure are the best thing to wear to bed (yeah, no kidding, thats what they're made for!), personally, I have two faves:

1. Paris! They're pink and have pics of the Eiffel Tower on them and little banners saying love on them!! They are SO cute, they also have little doves on them which add to the cuteness!! As I speak (or write's more like it!) I'm wearing my Paris pants! <3 them 4EVER!

And number 2!: These Jim jams are cute and comfy, the pants are striped (blue and white) and the top has blue and white stripes too, but to add to the cuteness! Four, yummy, YUMMY, YUMMY!!! Cupcakes!!! Adorable and delicious!! =)

Well thats all from me tonight (or should I say this morning?) thanks to all the friggin AWESOME people who read this (Moloko) and I'll see ya later (alligator!)

Everyone loves jewelery but whats the style where you sparkle and wear heaps? BLING!
Alot of people who are into bling will wear dollar signs ($ $ $), watches and most likely some pretty sparkly accesories (if you're a boy it may be a little different, but I'll go on to that in a minute).
Here are a fews pics of girl bling (NOTE: WATCHES CAN BE FOR GIRLS AND BOYS).

So yeh, thats girls, boys have more of a lose style if ya wanna go BLING, but there's something wrong with my computor so I can't upload any more... SORRY! :(

Superhero fashion

We all know batman, spiderman and that but lets see how they dress.

To gat a superhero look, my advice is to wear lots of white makeup (depending on how dark your skin is) have long nails and the rest we'll talk about soon.

Did you know they have superhero fashion shows?

Black skinny style with masks is classy in that world

The mask again and any kind of black will do

Never forget the cape

Futuristic is stylish :)

You can't NOT have some colour!

Classic superman!

Well that's super hero fashion, lets talk a bit about how to get that look!

Choose a superhero that you admire, or,just for the fun of it, pick one that you absolutely hate.

  • Find out what that superhero looks like. eg. colours, outfits, hairstyles, make-up, etc.

    • Pick an outfit that your hero wears that you absolutely LOVE

Wear your superheros colors (Hulk: purple and green, superman; blue and red, etc.) or wear a replica of their costume.

Fix your hair just like theirs (superman's is always slicked back, hulk's is messy and green, etc.)

Select the right make up. Make up is also important to a costume, guys can even wear make up to look more dramatic (superwoman wears bright red lipstick and thick eyeliner, etc.)
    • if your super hero has a mask, buy one from a costume shop or even a toy store.

That is how to dress like a superhero!

    That's all for today!

Emo

HI! Today I'm talking about Emo fashion! I know I'm to friendly to ever be one of these it is a fashion so I will write about it.

Hair:

Clearly Emo hair is easily recognized but how do you do your hair in a Emo-ish style? Well, it can take a while but when you know how to do it you'll be Emo in no time!

First the top layers need to be chopped - you can do it yourself or go to the hair dresser for short choppy hair. Then you will need to tease them by the roots for the uplifted effect, and spray the teased part with hairspay. Now the bottom layers will need to be longer, thiner, with colourful streaks (optional, depending on your colour sense) and most important - they need to be straight. To get this look, use a hair straightener (first spray your hair with heat defence spray) and put some wax on the ends. Second option is to clip some hair extensions in, it gives you great choice with styles / colours / looks.  Then and a few bows and hair clips in your fringe or just a nice head band.

Emo make-up

It is different for girls and boys so just follow the seperate steps for girls and boys.

If you want to get an emo styled look with your makeup, there is a specific way to put it on. Follow these steps and you will look emo in no time.

Things You'll Need
  • Eye liner
  • Mascara
  • Powder
  • Black makeup
  • Eye shadow

Girls Make-Up
  1. Take your emo eyepaint or eyeliner and apply it carefully on the bottom of your eyes. Make sure you get close to the lash line. Start on the inside corner of your eye and make a thin line going to the outside of your eye.
  2. Apply your eyepaint/eyeliner in the same manner on top. Try for a rounded edge on the outside corner of your eye.
  3. Apply a healthy amount of eye shadow to your eyelids after the eyeliner has dried.
  4. You can create a shadow effect by applying a thin amount of a dark coloured eye shadow all around your eyes.
  5. Apply one coat of black mascara.
  6. If you want to, use foundation in a tone slightly lighter than your skin tone, or your own skin tone.
  7. Put a tiny bit of lipstick on. Blend it well into your lips and blot some off for a tinting affect.
  8. Don't overdo the makeup- you may look like a poser.
Quick note: If you have a very light skin complexion and maybe even darker eyes, you may want to use like a dark brown (close to black) and/ or a crimson color. This will not be to harsh on your skin tone!
  • apply colored eye liner under your black; use eyeliner on top lid too.
Boys makeup

  1. Apply eyeliner or emo eyepaint. Get very close to your lash line. Look at pictures of guys wearing eyeliner; notice that they are not wearing a lot - just enough to show they have it on.
  2. Eyeshadow is not mandatory, but if you are going to wear it, make sure it's not a sparkly neon color.
  3. If you wish, use a lightening foundation.
  4. Lipstick is, again, optional. If you are going to wear it, make sure to wear a tiny amount. Rub most of it off so it tints your lips, and doesn't paint them.
For Both!

  • Should not be ringed around your eyes.
  • If you're going to try liquid liner, you might just want to skip to emo eye paint instead. If you don't have access to emo eye paint, try just using liquid liner instead.
  • Go easy on the eyeliner. Put enough on where people know you have it on, but don't look like a raccoon.
  • You can use the same process with kohl or an eye pencil instead of emo eyepaint or liquid liner.
Eyeshadow

  • Try consulting with a makeup artist before selecting a color.
  • Make sure your color goes well with your eyes.
  • You should try new colors like dark green or midnight blue.
Using Powder/ Foundation to Lighten Your Skin Tone

  • Your face doesn't have to be covered in powder.
  • Don't use a foundation four shades lighter then your skin tone. While pale skin is stereotypical, look healthy.
  • If you want lighter skin, try using foundation one shade lighter than your skin tone.
Lips

  • Lip color shouldn't be too dramatic.
  • Try smudging a little purple on your lips, not coating them in black or red.
  • Consider ditching lip colors and gloss all together in favor of chap stick.
  • Avoid lip gloss - shiny is not the way to go.
Tips

  • Apply makeup in a reasonably bright light.
  • Guys: The eye shadow doesn't work - you have to use face powders.
  • Look at other people's makeup to get ideas. Never use their makeup ideas as your finished product!
  • Guys: Ask a girl to help you if you can't manage on your own
Warnings

  • Don't over-do it.
  • Try to use a base/primer so your eyeliner doesn't leak.

Spotty Emo-ish dress (a bit more gothic lolita)

Ragged Emo skirt, that's the trick, ragged EVERYTHING!

Bye guys, Missy

Random post

There are loads of movies and sites you can refer to if you are a TOTAL fashion obssesed person like me (Devil which I am watching tonight is not), if you are more into teen fashion the Clique is a really good one, I love Massie and Dylans style but I do NOT LIKE CLAIRE! Anyway as I said in a previous post The Devil Wears Prada is also great.

And if you need inspiration for your blogs (and love to cook) the Julie and Julia is the movie for you! It inspired me (along with the Devil Wears Prada) to start this blog, so check these movies out and have a movie fest with your friends and watch them ALL!

Hi people

Hi people!

Today I'm writing about dresses, personally I have loads of dresses in my cupboard (note to self: cull dresses)  but there are SO many types of dresses, I mean, wedding dresses, casual, flower girl, prom, dress up you know... SO MANY!
I was a flower girl for my big sisters wedding and my dress looked like this: a beige-cream drop straight down dress, so droppy I had to put a peice of fabric around my waist, anyway then for my friends wedding I wore a purple dress with  a butterfly sown out of sequins at the bottom.

But ANY-WAY! Here are some photos of different types of dresses, like prom, wedding, flower girl, casual and more...

Lovely choice (not something I would wear though)

Lovely Kate Middleton the new Duchess of Cambridge (I think it's Cambridge)

A flower girl dress (not like the one I wore though)

Totally casual (something you could watch TV with)

Nice prom dress... Would you wear it?

Well thats all today,   Missy

The Easter Show (in my room)

Ok, hi there!! Well, this post isn't actually about fashion, its about a great idea I had: well, I was thinking that I should create a mini amuesment park in my room... I mean... How awesome would that be??? So, I just started and I've started with a slide which I've made out of a long piece of wood with cork screws attached and well, I think it looks pretty good, now I'm wondering how to make the rollar coaster, although I have made the tower of terror...
Well, the only reason I'm actually making this is coz mum won't take me to the easter show :(

Oh well...
Bye-bye! Missy

Some photos

Here are some photos I thought were cool, I'll get more soon.

This dress is very puffy but you know,
                                                                                it look's good on her

This outfit is a bit... Well a LOT more casual

She looks a bit like a frilly sea shell! But... Red!

This dress I guess you could wear to a dinner party

Sleek, but without that pink shawl kind of thing,
                                                                          it would be pretty casual

A bit more of a gothic punk look but the most casual
                                                                          so far!!

A whoops on the stage! Every models NIGHTMARE!

Lots of girls on the catwalk, I like these because they are
                                          so much more casual

This is Valentino, he is a very famous (and expensive)
designer, he designed lots of  the dresses in those shots

Well just thought I'd share that with you.

Missy

If you like Fashion

If you like fashion thenyou should watch 'Devil Wears Prada' it's a great movie with so many styles: coats, dresses, skirts, tops, singlets, boots, stilletos, hats and SO much more!
Not that you can really get that style of clothing in our sizes but you know, it will give you... I don't know... Inspiration for designs that you could make up.

Anyway, I guess I just had to say that, by the way you can e-mail me on: fashionblogger1@hotmail.com                                                                                                                                                                                        Missy

Great idea I randomly had

Alright, if your a kid my age and all you can find in shopping centres is a pink frilly dress???
Well like I mentioned in my last blog Supre is an AWESOME store, what I didn't mention is that it has
extra small sizes to fit small people yet the clothes are much more grown up. So, heres a couple of mix and match ideas with Supre clothing:

1. You can make a great match with there high-waisted (or military) shorts and one of there cool loose singlets like the one with those stripes and a tiger with a nice tight top underneath to look sophisticated.

2. Also a great match would be: a pair of cool stockings, with a mini skirt and your pick of singlet.

3. My last match with Supre clothing: a nice dress with tights, ballet flats (from your favourite shoe store), and maybe a nice scarf.

Also, last thing, I know Vinnies and After-A-Fashion (Lane-Cove) are REALLY boring but if you can sort through your Mum or Grandma's wardrobe you may find something that you like and when it fits you ask them if you can have it.

My first fashion post

Ok,

here I am again, today I'mgoing to tell you about my favourite stores, my choices do vary so heres a few of of my favourites:

1. Supre, everyone knows they have GREAT high waisted shorts!!

2. Jay-Jay's, I only discovered them the other day and they have awesome stuff! Like jeans, belts, and super cute tees!

3. Diva, when I went in there with my friend we discovered ALOT of cool jewelery, there was an AWESOME necklace that had a little mini camera on the end of the chain that flashed when you pressed the button, also the headbands where really cool too!

So those are my top three shops at the moment, I'll change them every month, Missy

Welcome

Ok,

let me get one thing straight, I am NOT doing this to copy that other girls blog about fashion... No way! I havn't even read it yet!! No, the reason I'm writing this blog today, is because, first of all, my brother is a designer and secondly I love mixing and matching clothing to see what will come out of it. You probably all think I'm just a show-off eleven year old, and you may be right... Or you may be wrong, anyway, either way you think of me, I'm just here to write about fashion and my mixing and matching and sometimes even a bad day at school.

Missy (sorry, can't tell you my real name).
